Ramzy troupe

It’s the final countdown……..

Literally, now 3 and a half weeks til Egyptian Nights II, I am waking up in the middle of the night worrying about things i’ve missed or having scary dreams, but although it feels horrendous, I remember this feeling last year!!!!! Although for some reason, it feels worse! Tickets are selling well. There are still seats available, but at this rate, there may not be tickets available on the night, so please, If you are thinking of coming, don’t miss out on this event, book in NOW!!!!!

The girls have been busy rehearsing, we have had a few extra days here and there, and next week will be our ONLY FINALE practice with everyone!!!! I feel confident on all those involved that it will be fine, and they know their parts well enough, this class will also be filmed by Kay Fenton, who is producing the professional dvd of the show. The 1st 40 copies can be pre-ordered and will be charged at £10 each (payable in November), and after that they are £13. Currently, 32 copies have been pre-ordered, so if you would like your name on the list then please let me know!

Also, we can confirm that an aftershow party has been booked for immediately after the show at Marylins, Grove Road, Eastbourne, and this will also have an arabic disco. All those attending, please bring nibbles to share, and we can have a boogie til the early hours!!!

Finally, am still buzzing from my first ever performance with the Ramzy troupe, (pictured Bottom row left to Right – Me, Cherie, Helen, Hossam, Top Row – Serena, Bonita, Rachel). We were told about the performance just a week after finding out that we 5 had passed the Drumzy Advanced course for professional dancers, (there are still some yet to finnish). It has not yet sunk in, after 2 years of hard work that i have finally finnished, as I know that I will never stop learning, and my journey as a dancer has only really just begun….

Anyway, We danced to a fab peice from Flamenco Arabe II at Saint Hill Castle, it was a beautiful place, we were well looked after,, (and fed with the most amazing food!) and I have to gloat, as despite the nerves, we all danced brilliantly! it was a bit crazy when we had the outfit change, (only about 3 minutes), then rushed back on stage to drum for Serena Ramzy. I was a little emotional at how fantastic the whole evening was, and know this is the first of many exciting opportunities with them all. Thanks guys!

Love Chickyxxx
