Simba / Zaphira's Tina is a granny!

Well, what a mad 2 weeks I’ve had!
After returning from Cyprus, we had a matter of days before the arrival of our beautiful new 8 week old lab puppy Simba – aptly named due to his enormous lion cub paws! And yes, he has completely turned the house upside down….It is like having a toddler who is mobile, teething, toilet training, up several times a night and having to hear the yapping and barking! He is absolutely gorgeous and him and our 2 year old rescue dog Lexi, after initial anxiety, are now both best buddies!
Last week, Zaphira’s Tina became a grandmother to her Son’s little girl, Alyssa Amelia Barrett-Dodd weighing 6lb 15oz, and I know, Tina certainly doesn’t look old enough to be a granny! All the family are well and adjusting to the new arrival, although I am yet to see the little one! Congratulations Tina!
Me, Sylvia and Sarah-Fay spent last Friday arranging this year’s photo shoot with Jane De Weck Photography, who will also be doing the Egyptian Nights II posters and a professional DVD of the show this year. It’s all very exciting, as things are starting to be put into place!
Bank holiday weekend was spent with a cold, (typical!) and I also performed at a private function to a 200 strong audience, despite this! Am feeling much better now and ready to tackle the final month countdown to the Rotherfield Hafla, and the Bollywood workshop, which reminds me, bookings are starting to come in thick and fast, so book asap if you want to come, I do not want to have to turn people away on the day if there are no spaces left!!!!
Much love, Chickyxxx
